Joyce + Roy | Italian Villa Wedding in Tuscany

This wedding in Tuscany was truly a memorable - not to mention stunning - event! Surrounded by their closest loved ones, Joyce and Roy filled their day with unique experiences the whole group could enjoy. Keep scrolling to see more from this Italian villa wedding.

Joyce + Roy’s Love Story

Love has a way of bringing couples together. In hard times it allows you to lean on and support each other, oftentimes bringing you closer than you were before.  Joyce and Roy met in the middle of peak COVID-19 at a mutual friend’s house party. They started chatting and, despite being very different from each other, hit it off. Roy’s witty humor charmed Joyce and, within two weeks, the couple was officially dating.

Just two months into their relationship, both Joyce and Roy received some pretty devastating news. Each of them lost a loved one and, as heartbroken as they were, they knew that they could rely on each other. It was during this time that their love grew stronger and they learned how to support each other while continuing to build their lives together.

Joyce + Roy’s Villa Wedding in Tuscany

I absolutely LOVED how unique Joyce and Roy’s wedding in Tuscany was. The couple really wanted to fill their day with experiences for them and their guests so they kept their wedding party small and intimate - only family and close friends - and chose a stunning wedding villa in Tuscany for their venue.

Their wedding day started with a mozzarella-making class which got everyone laughing and participating in something together. The wine was flowing and all their guests were having a great time. Before the workshop was over, Joyce and Roy each wrote their vows on a paper plate and the chef even made them cheese rings!

Afterward, Joyce changed into her second wedding dress and did a first look with Roy in the forest behind the villa. The couple exchanged vows and rings privately and enjoyed a special moment before joining their guests for cocktail hour (or aperitivo as the Italians call it).

Their dinner reception was the main event at this wedding in Tuscany. On the lawn, they had a king's table-style setting underneath twinkle lights with the Tuscany rolling hills in the background. It was picture-perfect! I especially loved all the unique details like the personalized ketchup name cards and spoon rests.

From beginning to end, Joyce and Roy’s wedding in Tuscany was an experience to remember! Not only did their day take place in one of the most stunning destination wedding locations ever, but it also included tons of unique experiences for them and their guests to remember and cherish for years to come.
