Curt + Mikayla’s Love Story

Love truly does bring people together and that statement couldn’t be more true for Curt and Mikayla. Their love story began with another couple’s love story. Curt’s cousin Landon was getting married to Mikayla’s best friend Ally, and it was during their wedding festivities that these two met. They became friends on social media, but it wasn’t anything more than that. Fast forward several years and life brought them together again. After reconnecting, they started to fall in love and that love soon led to an engagement.

In 2023, Curt and Mikayla visited Arizona during Super Bowl weekend. They had plans to go to dinner with their good friends, Landon and Ally, and decided on a beautiful country club in San Tan, Arizona. On a terrace with “Marry Me” letters and a picturesque Arizona backdrop behind them, Curt got down on one knee and popped the question. As soon as Mikayla said YES the couple turned around and were surprised by their families (including Curt’s parents who flew in from Tampa). They all enjoyed a beautiful dinner complete with toasts, gifts, laughs, and beautiful memories.

A High-End Wedding at The Andaz Resort in Scottsdale

The morning of Curt and Mikayla’s Andaz Scottsdale wedding brought clear and sunny skies. Mikayla and her wedding party got ready in one of The Andaz resort’s wedding suites while Curt and his crew got ready in another. After getting into her dress, the bride did a first look with her bridesmaids followed by her dad and then Curt. One of the things that made each of these moments so special was the heartfelt gifts that were exchanged along the way. You don’t always need a gift to show how much you love someone, but it can be a thoughtful touch and a special memento to remember the day by.

The theme of Curt and Mikayla’s wedding was classic and timeless. Their wedding party wore all-black outfits and every black and white detail felt more luxurious than the next. One of my absolute favorite details was the custom wedding magazines they had designed for their guests.

What made this day special was all of the love surrounding the couple. Everyone who attended the wedding supported them 100%, including their friends Landon and Ally who had played such a significant part in their love story. Ally was Mikayla’s matron of honor and Landon officiated the ceremony which the couple told me was extremely special to them.

This Andaz Scottsdale wedding was not only gorgeous but was filled with so much love and care. Mikayla and Curt were one of the most thoughtful and caring couples I have ever met and I am so grateful to have been a part of their day. Congratulations, you two!
