Cassie + Ian | Windmill Winery Wedding

You know that old cliche, “I would follow you to the ends of the earth?” Well today’s couple, Cassie and Ian, had to take that to heart because at one point, Cassie was attending school in Rhode Island and Ian was doing his residency in California. It’s not the ends of the earth, but it is the ends of the country! Their careers and schooling have taken them all over the country, and often to places that were far from the other person. However, they persisted, and now they are together as Mr. and Mrs.

When I asked Cassie and Ian for advice to other brides planning their big day, they talked about how challenging it was to shift their planning in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, they went on to talk about what a hidden blessing it was to focus on the things that were most important, like having friends and family around and building a network of support. They said to go with the flow and enjoy the process, because at the end of the day, you are going to be married to your favorite person and the love of your life and that's what's most important.

What an incredible attitude to have in light of such a challenging time.

Cassie and Ian got married at the Windmill Winery, and FUN FACT for you: the last time I was here was when I got married! What can I say, they have excellent taste. Also, they were an incredibly beautiful couple. Everyone kept saying that they were the brunette version of Barbie & Ken. They looked perfect, the venue and all the details were perfect, the wedding was perfect.

Cassie and Ian, you guys were a literal DREAM. I had so much fun capturing your big day and I am so honored that you guys chose me to be a part of it. Thank you for including me, and congratulations on your new life together!
