Alice + Devon’s Love Story
I always love hearing about how my couples met, and Alice and Devon’s love story proves that first impressions aren’t always everything.
The couple first met in a small group at church. Alice, who was one of the leaders of the group, did not think twice about Devon (a tired and disgruntled college student in a red t-shirt and purple basketball shorts) when she first met him, but what neither of them knew at the time, was that this seemingly insignificant meeting was about to become the start of a whole new love story!
Eventually, the couple started dating and 3.5 years later, Devon popped the question. Before long, they were planning a dreamy Mexico resort wedding in sunny Canun!

Alice and Devon’s destination wedding took place at Finest Playa Mujeres, a stunning all-inclusive resort in Cancun, Mexico. Even though the couple planned their wedding for late fall, they wanted a summer-themed wedding to match the resort vibes. Luckily, planning a beach wedding pretty much means you’re guaranteed summer wedding vibes!
From the very first moments with the couple getting ready in the resort to the end of the evening when they danced the night away in the rain, this Mexico resort wedding was filled with wholesome moments and endless love! Not only was their location and details an absolute dream but Alice and Devon made everyone who attended their wedding feel so seen and welcomed!
