Luxury Scottsdale Wedding with Chic Details and Decor

I absolutely love any reason to get dressed up to the nines, and Lexie and Ethan’s luxury wedding at the Omni Montelucia Resort in Scottsdale was one of the classiest reasons I’ve had to date! From the gorgeous venue, to the chic decor, down to Lexie’s Jimmy Choo heels, these two created the most elegant day to celebrate their love.

Lexie and Ethan met through mutual friends in Tucson, AZ when Lexie was a freshman in college. They both describe having an immediate connection and an undeniable spark between them! After a few months of dating, distance became a barrier when Ethan had to move to Oregon, and at that time they decided to end their relationship. But two years later, Ethan moved back to Tucson and they ended up running into each other at a bar! That lucky night revealed that the spark they originally shared was totally still there, and Lexie and Ethan got back together in 2014. After Lexie graduated college they lived in different cities for a short period, but this time distance could not get between them. They moved in together when Lexie began her Master’s program, and Ethan proposed shortly after she graduated! On a weekend that Lexie thought was just a fun birthday get-a-way at a hotel with friends, Ethan completely surprised her with the proposal, and an evening celebratory dinner with family and friends who had flown in for the occasion!

Lexie and Ethan wanted a smaller, intimate, but luxurious wedding day to celebrate with their closest friends and family – and their venue delivered luxury in every way! The Omni Montelucia Resort boasts a stunning event space, with a beautiful outdoor ceremony lawn set against the backdrop of desert palms and the picturesque Arizona mountains. This Spanish-style Scottsdale wedding venue is all things effortless elegance, with its white stucco exterior, intricately painted ceramic tiles, natural wood floors, and ornate Spanish chandeliers. It is impossible to not capture beauty here!

Lexie and Ethan wanted to host as much of their Scottsdale wedding outdoors as possible, so after the ceremony the lawn was flipped to hold their sit-down dinner reception. The beautiful tablescapes with lights strung overhead in the evening sunset was one of the most elegant and romantic settings I’ve ever seen! Because the space itself was so stunning, Lexie and Ethan kept their decor simple yet chic. Their bridal party wore elegant black, and the floral color palette was neutral with blush pink accents. These elements complimented the beauty of the venue so perfectly! After the dinner and cake, speeches and toasts, the wedding moved to the Omni’s gorgeous ballroom for dancing. Lexie changed into an elegant and playful second wedding dress with custom Golden Goose sneakers for the post-wedding party! The energy of these more intimate weddings is just so much fun – getting to see the happiness of Lexie and Ethan celebrating together with their very favorite people was such a delight!
