Romantic Lairmont Manor Wedding in Washington

This Lairmont Manor wedding in Washington was not only a beautiful, romantic-themed wedding, but it was also a special one for me as a photographer. I have known the groom, David, since my freshman year of college. After graduating, we continued to stay friends and I was so excited when he reached out to me to ask to photograph his and Rebecca’s engagement and wedding photos! These two have the sweetest love story and I couldn’t be more excited to share their Washington wedding with you today!

David and Rebecca met on Hinge in October 2019. Online dating was new for Rebecca, and after two weeks of messaging, she agreed to meet David in person for their first date at Ramen Danbo in Seattle. David made dinner reservations for Saturday night, but if you know anything about this restaurant, you know it’s not uncommon for there to be a long wait (yes, it’s that good!). The couple stood outside for over an hour waiting for their table, but the extra wait gave them time to exchange stories and get to know each other better. They immediately bonded over a mutual connection and love for their families, and conversation continued to flow throughout the evening. It was on that first date when the two knew they shared something special, and now, three and a half years later, it’s evident to everyone just how true that was.

David and Rebecca’s Washington Wedding at Lairmont Manor

For their Washington wedding, David and Rebecca chose Lairmont Manor, a stunning home in Bellingham, Washington for their wedding venue. Their theme was formal and romantic, and I have to say, every detail matched their vision perfectly! One of my favorite details from the day was their seating chart. Because family is so important to the couple, they created a large board that said “Our Favorite People” at the top with green escort cards underneath that included not just the guests’ names and table numbers, but also a handwritten note from the couple detailing a favorite memory.

After a full day of getting ready with loved ones, sharing personal vows, and lots of wedding photos, David and Rebecca ended their Washington wedding enjoying good music and dancing the night away with their guests on the dance floor. A perfect ending to a perfect day if you ask me!

This Lairmont Manor wedding was so much fun because not only did I get to visit the gorgeous PNW, but I also got to celebrate a good friend and an amazing couple!
