Classy City Wedding in Downtown Los Angeles

A wedding is not just the coming together of two lives, but also the blending of two families. For Julie and JB, meeting and getting married not only brought their families together, but it was also an opportunity for two people to reconnect with each other after 20 years!

Like so many of my couples, JB and Julie met in college. Though they were a few years apart, they attended the same fellowship on campus and got to know each other over a shared interest: eating Korean food!! After about 3 years, the couple realized that they enjoyed each other’s company so much that they decided to take their relationship to the next level. During this time they discovered that Julie’s mom and JB’s aunt had been very close friends in their 20s but had lost contact with each other. It was Julie and JB’s connection that brought the two of them back together, joining the two families who instantly became very close, sealing the deal on what was always meant to be.

For their wedding, Julie and JB flew me out to southern California. They chose a beautiful wedding venue in South Park LA that has big tall windows with sprawling city views. The building is located in downtown Los Angeles and has one of the best 360º views of the city. Of course, I knew that had to be the place for their first look. After they each got ready, we went up to the top of the building and did the big reveal on the rooftop helicopter pad. It was epic!

I absolutely loved watching Julie and JP experience their wedding day. The couple was so joyful literally the whole entire day and everyone around them was so happy and supportive. Congrats you two on your beautiful marriage! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day!
