Kaylyn + Steven | Cloth & Flame Desert Intimate Wedding

Sometimes, the smallest things can end up being the most meaningful. A second of eye contact can lead to a strong connection between two people. A brush of a hand can send an electric current through someone’s body. And in Kaylyn’s & Steven’s case, a simple swipe of a finger can lead to a lifelong relationship full of love and adventure.

Kaylyn and Steven met on Tinder and had their first date at a concert. When they both started dancing and singing along to “Teenage Dirtbag,” they knew they were meant to be together. Laughing, adventuring together, and being goofy have all been important parts of their relationship ever since.

A few months after their first date, Kaylyn met all of Steven’s family (Steven says that when she didn’t run away screaming, he knew she was a keeper). After that, they travelled together, moved in together, got a dog (hi Beckett!) and built their first home.

Steven proposed during a stargazing trip in Tennessee. He insisted that Kaylyn come and look at this magical (imaginary) star and when she couldn’t find it, she turned to find Steven down on one knee. After that, an enthusiastic and excited “YES!!!” followed.

Kaylyn and Steven had an intimate and cozy Cloth & Flame wedding in the middle of the desert surrounded by cacti. Kaylyn’s dress was simple, sleek, and stunning. She was an incredibly beautiful bride and the desert landscape was the perfect backdrop for the ceremony. Afterwards, the wedding party and the guests danced the night away underneath the stars. It was an absolute dream, and I was so honored to be a part of it. Kaylyn and Steven, thank you for letting me be a part of your special day. Congratulations!!!
