Post-Graduation

After college, I landed a job as a wedding coordinator and learned all the ins and outs of a wedding day, from time management to vendor coordination. It was an amazing experience, but photography was still calling my name.

One year into my coordinator role, I took the leap and decided to go full-time with wedding photography. I took the skills from my coordinator role and my creativity from my experience with photography and it was a match made in heaven. It was definitely the scariest decision I ever made, but also the best. I absolutely LOVE my job and can't imagine doing anything else.

College

Now, you might be surprised to hear that in college, I studied Kinesiology with the intention of becoming a physical therapist. I know, I know, what a plot twist!

But don't worry, photography was still in the picture. I always brought my camera along on adventures and did the occasional shoot just for fun. And then, during a senior-year internship at a wedding venue, something clicked for me. I fell head over heels for weddings and knew that I wanted to be a part of the wedding industry.

High School

I was thrown into a yearbook class and tasked with capturing all the school events with a dinky little point-and-shoot camera. But lo and behold, I discovered my love for photography and how it can capture a moment in time to look back on

From there, I started taking on more and more gigs, from senior portraits to family and couple sessions. I was hooked!
