6 of the Best Wedding Locations in Italy
Tuscany
Tuscany, Italy is one of those must-visit destinations in Italy, but it’s also the perfect location for a timeless Italy wedding. On top of its beautiful scenery, Tuscany is also known for its rich history and art scene, not to mention it’s also a top destination for Italian food and wine. With so many things to love, it’s easy to see why Tuscany is one of the top wedding locations in Italy. In fact, I’ve photographed two weddings in this region and I can say that it makes for one of the most charming places to get married in Italy!

Located in southern Italy (aka the heel of the boot), Puglia is one of the country’s hidden gem locations. This region boasts rustic charm with its olive groves and unique masserias (marble/stucco buildings located on rolling hills and vineyards) giving the feel of a Mediterranean oasis. I visited Puglia last year and it quickly became one of my favorite places ever!

Because this region is located in Southern Italy, the summers can get very hot! For the best weather and fewer tourists, I recommend visiting during the shoulder months of summer (May-June or September-October).

I've visited this region before and it truly is one of the most magical and romantic places to get married in Italy.

Located to the southeast of Tuscany, this region offers many of the same rolling hill views and stunning vineyards of its neighbor region, but without the crowds. A wedding in Umbria is sure to offer a peaceful and authentic Italian experience while also providing much of the same historic charm and natural beauty of its surrounding regions.
