Luxury Resort Wedding at Royal Palms Resort & Spa

I’ll be the first to say that Arizona is FILLED with some of the most gorgeous wedding venues in the country and this luxury resort wedding at Royal Palms Resort & Spa was proof! Harriet and Cole planned a beautiful luxury Arizona wedding at one of the dreamiest wedding venues in the state. Keep scrolling to see what I mean.

Like so many of my couples, Harriet and Cole met in college and became really good friends! Though it wasn’t love at first sight (at least for Harriet), by the beginning of their senior year, the two started dating, much to Cole’s delight! For their first date, the couple planned to go see a movie, but things took a turn and they ended up in the emergency room instead!! Cole was experiencing some severe muscle cramps as they were walking into the theater. Thankfully, it wasn’t serious and the two now share a good laugh when they look back on that moment together.

Harriet and Cole’s engagement took place during a family vacation to Cabo. Everyone had gone to celebrate Harriet’s parents’ wedding anniversary, but little did she know that Cole also had something special planned for her. While the couple was walking along the beach one night, Cole got down on one knee and popped the question. What started out as an anniversary celebration for one couple turned into an engagement celebration for these two!

For their wedding day, Harriet and Cole planned a luxury resort wedding at Royal Palms Resort & Spa. I seriously cannot get over how beautiful this Arizona wedding venue is! This Spanish Colonial Revival villa located in the Camelback Mountains is the perfect setting for couples looking for minimal, neutral, and luxurious vibes with a Mediterranean flair. The venue was originally designed as a couple’s retreat, so needless to say it is the perfect place for couples to say ‘I Do’.

After Harriet and Cole got ready and shared their wedding first look, the three of us explored all the beautiful corners of their beautiful venue, falling more and more in love with each new location we discovered. Afterward, we took wedding party photos (fun fact - most of the friends in their wedding party are the exact same friends from those first years together in college) followed by their sweet outdoor wedding ceremony. I absolutely loved how Harriet and Cole included their dog in the ceremony making for some really sweet photos.

This Royal Palms Resort & Spa wedding was definitely one of the highlights of my wedding season. Harriet and Cole, congratulations on your wedding, and wishing you both many years of love and happiness!
