Khin + Sean | Ice Cream Churn Engagement

Shooting weddings and engagements are my number one passion in life; being able to capture the love between two people is an absolute honor, and I don’t take it for granted. However, I sometimes forget that I am an artist too, so in order to grow as a photographer, I have to exercise my creative muscles. Styled shoots are such a fun way for me to do that. I get to set a vision, direct really amazing models, and take myself out of my comfort zone in a way that makes me a better photographer. If you know me at all, then you know that my number two passion in life is ice cream. Therefore, this styled shoot took place at Churn, an adorable ice cream shop in downtown Phoenix. My models, Khin & Shawn, were adorable and so much fun to shoot. 

When thinking about engagement shoots, many couples start to think about dramatic outdoor landscapes with trees, mountains, or lakes. And these settings make incredible pictures! However, don’t forget the charm, intimacy, and sentimentality that indoor locations can have. Sometimes, they can give your engagement pictures a cozier and familiar feel that can really highlight your love in a special way.
